To get started with IdCloud Authentication, a simple scenario “Offline OATH Authentication” is provided to guide you through the different steps that you need to perform.
Offline OATH authentication
In this scenario, the end user logs in to the bank’s website from a browser on his or her computer using an OTP generated by the mobile application. The authentication on the mobile could be a PIN, fingerprint or facial recognition. The OTP is displayed by the mobile application and you will be required to manually enter it.
A process called onboarding is needed to create the different accounts and endpoints for your organization in order to evaluate the IdCloud offering. Thales returns an onboarding output form to you with the configuration details that you will need to use for the Getting Started.

Tutorial web site
Using a browser on a PC, you can access the tutorial web application. The instructions on the web site demonstrate an enrollment process and allow you to test authentication and signature scenarios. You can find the URL in the output forms, in the “IdCloud Tutorial website” section. This tutorial web site can be used during the Getting Started to simulate the backend operations.
